Payment Processing
moira & obbie accepts all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) and debit cards processed directly through our website. We prefer Visa and Mastercard if that is possible for you.
Sales Tax
Illinois State residents are automatically charged applicable sales tax.
Privacy Policy:
Your privacy is important to us, and we will never sell or give away the information you provide to us. Your mailing address, email address, credit card information and any other details given to us are secure and are used for our own purposes only.
Changes / Cancellations
If you wish to cancel or modify your order, please send an email as soon as possible to vanessa@moiraobbie.com. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, however, once a product has left our premises for shipping, the purchase cannot be cancelled or modified. In this case, please refer to our return policy if you would like to purchase a different product.
Return Policy
In order to make a return, please email us within 5 days of receiving your order and we will give you directions on how to complete your return. The item must be sent back to us in the same condition, and we can issue you a refund or store credit. You must pay for return shipping, and the original shipping costs will not be refunded. Custom orders are not returnable.
We prefer returns be sent to moira & obbie by UPS, Fed Ex, or U.S. Mail with delivery confirmation for tracking purposes. Ship items carefully wrapped and packaged, along with your order summary to the return address provied with your product.
Item Availability
Most items we offer are one-of-a-kind or a limited edition. They are on a “first come, first serve” basis. If you order the same item that has already been ordered by someone else, before it is marked sold, your payment will be refunded.
Custom Orders
At this time we are available to do some custom orders. Custom orders are done on an individual basis dependent on availability of time and resources. If there is something you see that is sold, but you are completely in love with, let us know and we will see if a similar item can be made. We cannot accept returns on custom orders.
Washing & Care
It is recommended that moria & obbie garments and accessories be handwashed in cool water, and air dried. If you are using a washing machine please use cold water and the delicate cycle and low/no heat in the drier. You may also dry clean moira & obbie wool products. This is probably your best choice. If your wool items require a little sprucing up, going over them with a steam iron will often revitalize a well-worn item. Do not iron appliques, delicate trims and embroidery.
The materials used in our items are often vintage, use natural dyes or fragile appliqués. All fabrics are pre-washed, and are checked carefully for any flaws. We are not held responsible for damage due to ordinary wear and tear.
